Father's Day lion card
Make a lion card with dandelion prints for your dad or someone you love.
I can name the parts of a dandelion and tell how its seeds spread.
A science experiment video with a free worksheet and answer key for teachers
About the video
In the video a Father's Day card is made with a lion whose mane is printed with dandelions. At home your child draws a 6 cm circle on yellow card, makes 10 dandelion prints in orange paint around it, adds a face and writes a message inside.
A dandelion has roots, a stem, leaves and a yellow head that is really many tiny flowers. Later the head becomes a white puff ball, and the wind carries each seed away on a tiny parachute to grow a new dandelion.
