What is the Australian Curriculum V9?
Version 9.0 of the Australian Curriculum, published by ACARA in 2022, sets out what students learn from Foundation to Year 10. Each learning area is written as content descriptions with codes such as AC9M4N03, plus an achievement standard for every year level. States and territories implement it on their own timelines.
GradeAid includes 6,094 content descriptions across 50 subjects, covering all eight learning areas and the languages from Foundation to Year 10, plus the senior secondary subjects for Years 11 and 12. You choose them when you plan, and GradeAid keeps track of which ones your class has covered.

Australian Curriculum questions
Version 9.0 for Foundation to Year 10, with the official AC9 codes. For Years 11 and 12, GradeAid uses the Australian Curriculum senior secondary subjects. Version 8.4 is also available for schools still teaching from it. We last checked the curriculum in May 2026.
Yes. GradeAid also includes the NSW syllabuses, the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 and the curricula used in Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania, the Northern Territory and the ACT.
You choose the year level, learning area and content descriptions a lesson should cover. GradeAid writes the objectives, activities and quiz questions to match them, and records which descriptions each lesson covers, so you can see your coverage across the year.
Every lesson is fully editable. Change objectives, swap activities and adjust pacing by hand, or ask Aidly, GradeAid's AI chat, to make the change for you. The AI drafts; you make the teaching decisions.
Individual teachers can start free, with no card needed. Planning directly from the Australian Curriculum is part of the Pro plan, and schools can get a school-wide licence.
GradeAid stores data in the EU (Google Cloud, Belgium) and never trains AI on teachers' uploads or students' work. Students don't chat with the AI: it's a planning tool for teachers. Schools can sign a data processing agreement.
