Measuring liquids
Count drops and find out which cup has more.
I can count drops and say which has more or less.
A math video lesson with a free worksheet and answer key for teachers
About the video
In the video drops of water are counted and cups are compared to see which holds more. At home your child compares cups with 10, 30 and 50 ml of coloured water, then drips water onto a coin one drop at a time and counts until it spills, 3 times.
We measure water in ml, and about 20 drops make just 1 ml. Water drops hold on to each other, so they form a little hill on the coin before they spill.
What your child learns

- Count drops one at a time
