Mother's Day counting card
Make a counting card for your mum or someone you love.
I can count to 10 and touch each thing one time.
A math video lesson with a free worksheet and answer key for teachers
About the video
In the video a Mother's Day card is made with flowers and paper hearts to count. At home your child draws 4 flowers, glues 1, 2, 3 and 4 hearts on them, and counts all 10 hearts out loud while touching each one. When we count, we touch each thing one time and say one number for each. The last number we say tells how many there are, and 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 makes 10 hearts.
What your child learns
